Bianca Tesi, MD, PhD. Bianca is a resident in Clinical Genetics at the Department of Clinical Genetics of Karolinska University Hospital, Sweden. She holds a medical degree from the University of Florence, Italy and a PhD degree in Medical Science from Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden. In parallel to her work as resident physician, she conducts postdoctoral research in the field of germline predisposition to childhood cancer and hematological malignancies at Karolinska Institutet. Bianca is active in the ChiCaP study (Childhood Cancer Predisposition) study in Sweden and in the Nordic MDS group for germline predisposition to hematological malignancies. Her ambition is to improve genetic diagnostics and counselling practices for patients and families with germline predisposition to childhood cancer and hematological malignancies.
